i think some people fail to realize that this is an intentional structure and something some people really enjoy. give me all the tournaments and open challenges. there is plenty of good story all over the shows surrounding it. unoriginal criticism/unoriginal man

I wish AEW had more tournaments. I like tat the kept the All Out->Grand Slam #1 contender tourney for example. They clearly built a story around the tourney too…the Roddy stuffs been built for months

and heck, most of OC’s reign was just accepting and challenging people at random when they said his name.

 

That WWE rarely uses open challenges after Cena got the conceit massively over is kinda wild… especially when their show opening gauntlet matches are the things that pop a huge rating
