I said to my wife at one point..they play almost every song like it’s a closer.

I mean Dinosaur was awesome. I love The Maze into The Gold so I’m fine with that sticking around.

The issue is they have a discography that’s too damn good.

 

I do also wish they had played Angel of Death! Overall I really liked the setlist, but it just felt short to me. It seemed like there should have been like 2-3 more songs

 

I mean, they did play Shake It Out and Simple Math (both over five minutes), Pride (about six minutes), and The Silence (about seven minutes) so it’s no wonder their setlist seemed shorter compared to Jimmy Eat World’s

 

Very true. Jimmy played Congratulations and 23 in Boston which are also longer ones but they had less theatrics which probably contributed to the length of the set too.

 

Jimmy played 80 and MO played 70. Pretty comparable.

Yeah it was unreal seeing that last weekend. Andy having the crowd sing along with the closing melody while he sung the closing lines was breathtaking and watching him just throw the mic on the floor to officially end the tour was a vibe

Can’t wait to see them again

I clicked on that thinking it was about the earlier days. Andy was very heavy set during the METN era. Nothing wrong with that, but I remember being stunned when I saw them on the SM tour and he all of a sudden dropped, what had to have been at least 75 pounds.

Dude looks in incredible shape now. Good for him!

 

That settles it. I’m a jump-roper now.

 

I think this whole thread should jump rope.

 

My younger brother is big into fitness and any time I bitch to him about how expensive free weights and other home workout equipment have become he sends me links to jump ropes on Amazon that are < $8.
