it's wild how good that JFAC album is considering how the band started

 

i like it so much more than the early stuff and andy yells at me about it

 

Goddamn this is fun

 

They had a really solid progression as a band but people would never accept it and acted like they were just a typical scene deathcore band. They deserve a second chance and I hope they peruse it.

 

Genesis is a genuinely good album and I think it deserves some respect on it. They made a cool ass straight death metal concept album instead of just milking a trend and that deserves some credit imo.

 

Maybe going for more radio play with this one

 

instrumentally this is cool, but i can't get over how bad the vocals here sound compared to their first two albums.

 

Yeah, it’s not hitting as hard as their other albums. But it’s still pretty good.

 

I imagine they won’t play this one live as it’s more of a vibe

love this band but I really really hope they don’t go the clean singing route on a regular basis

 

I like the new Fuming Mouth song but yeah I hope it’s not all cleans on the album.

 

it sounds like Bull Believer off the Wednesday album

 

I've never listened to Cryptopsy before but I'm really digging this new record. Where do I go from here?
