FINALLY!

 

Saw a tiktok ad for a new hulu horror film starring Kaitlyn Dever, and in the comments one person said she has a perfect "RCF (resting concerned face)" lolol

 

Birth/Rebirth is a doozy. Not really scary or traditionally horror, but the premise is just so macabre. Judy Reyes and Marin Ireland are both great. I wanted to see more of Marin Ireland in Justified: City Primevil, so I'm glad she really shines here. Looking at IMDB, this appears to the full length directorial debut for Laura Moss. If that's true, this is very impressive.

I'm assuming you mean Saw X and not Spiral? If so, it appears to take place between the two? It's not out yet, so I couldn't tell you lol

 

Yeah, I think I read somewhere it’s a sequel to 1 but a prequel to 2? Idk, I’d like to check it out but don’t wanna commit to all the others.

Also yeah Saw X is basically 1.5. A lot of focus on Amanda too.

 

What's everyone's favorite Part 3?

I wonder if we can get a thread consensus of the best Part 3, I think there's at least one strong contender.

I still ride or die for Poltergeist III and think it's super underrated and very creepy with amazing effects.

Note: While looking up the topic, I found out The Howling III has the best subtitle, The Howling III: The Marsupials.

 

Dream Warriors, Final Destination 3, Army of Darkness, and Election Year are all up there for me

Wow. The Passenger is something so far. Horror adjacent, I guess? Kyle Gallner is just so much fun to watch.

 

Ooh and as far as part 3s go. I LOVE Poltergeist III.. I avoid puddles in parking garages to this day.

Also have to show some love for Season of the Witch, FD3, and Scream 3. (I know, it’s not great in the scope of the franchise, but still better than most sequels in other franchises.)

 

What’s the consensus on Hell House LLC here? Watching it for the first time. Are any of the follow ups worth watching?

 

It rules. Still need to see the 2nd, but I think everyone say stay away from 3.

 

Is it out now? Been waiting for that one.

 

Came out last month actually. Well at least on the high seas. I don’t know if it’s streaming anywhere
