Bryce will be cool, Stroud will be cool, Richardson will have that Fields like career where he's sloppy in some ways but jaw dropping in other ways and he could blow up and be amazing later on... and I don't think any of them will ever be elite but I do think at least one of them will be able to hold their own in playoff games. This is a fun draft class haha.

Eh, this is the best attempt at a rebuild I've seen since the Newton loss. Going after Darnold was bad but I feel real optimistic about the Frank Reich / Bryce Young combo. So what if it cost you picks, that's what putting your team on the map again costs.

 

im not relitigating the draft all over again but it looks dumber and dumber every day that they did all of this moving and shaking for this year's draft and not for next year's

 

Well, there's no trading up for Caleb Williams for one thing, whoever gets #1 overall ain't giving up that pick. I get your concerns about Bryce Young but he's also the level of talent you don't just pass up if you can get him.

It also takes time when a re-starting team drafts rookies to be core players, for them to actually have the confidence to fill that big of a role. So doesn't it make sense to start that process early, considering you only have 4 years to make a decision on Bryce Young? By year 3 you want some year 3 vets who deeply understand what they're doing alongside him.
