Thankful for this sublime show

 

Finale was pretty much perfect. The whole show is pretty much perfect honestly, I don't think there's a single weak episode, it's so incredibly consistent the whole time

I have no idea how Wilson will follow this up, I feel like he's just getting started

 

How he managed to outdo the insanity of The Bachelor guy within ten minutes…

Yeah and I don't know how he got his head/neck to be like a 90 degree angle to the rest of his body.

 

Instead of ending with "thanks for watching", it's "thanks for watching all my movies."

 

Castration guy could have easily been a joke,.but John yet again showed treating people with empathy and understanding makes this so much more interesting.

Now it has got me googling Body Integrity Identity Disorder and the history of Asexuality

 

Chuck Klosterman did an essay about people with BIID who would amputate their own limbs before, but I never heard of someone castrating themselves.

 

Also how in the fuck has the cryonics industry not been investigated for life insurance fraud yet? Jesus chris.

 

Pretty genius grift. I am dumb and don't know anything, but I assume other death industries work similarly? Like can you buy your funeral plot with a life insurance policy?

 

reading into Alcor more, the wildest part is that they’ve been involved in multiple lawsuits where the families of deceased didn’t want to send their remains to Alcor. Alcor has been pretty successful in winning these lawsuits, but the weird thing is they seem to care more about acquiring the bodies for preservation more than getting the money from their families. something seems fishy there.

 

Loved the ex-cop Titantic conspiracy theorist who just wanted to hang out with John and talk about how George Harrison is lowkey the best Beatle.
