I will not be spending thousands on rings

I get why weddings end up being expensive cause a LOT of people’s labor goes into that, but expensive wedding rings is more about class & status than anything else

 

The engagement ring I bought my was was like $250. And she told me to not spend more than $200.

Tonight was one of those that went from “you can probably have off on Labor Day it’s slow”

to “oh shit we only have two servers and lunch was busy we are panicking, please come in”

to “well it’s not busy at all actually, which should’ve been obvious because the 3 day weekend is over and people have to work tomorrow, but I’m still gonna have you take the last table”

To my table asking me when the latest they can place an order is, like that’s not rude and putting me on the spot where I can’t even answer you honestly

to them sitting there until we turned the lights on to mop, and still sitting there until I came over and took their unfinished water glasses and said “have a great night”
