I still believe there really will be a "next time". In the meantime, tho, wouldn't say no to a blu-ray/vinyl combo of the last two shows in Philly. Those livestreams were special.

 

Really hoped today would be the day we'd see a vinyl and/or blu ray preorder of the final weekend

 

I have faith we’ll get something. They’re just too thoughtful to release news on merch until plans are ironed out to some level of certainty.

plus, they have the re-releases of Pale Horses and self-titled to complete. Maybe those get knocked out first?

 

True and even though I have the deluxe versions of both already I will be purchasing these to complete the collector's edition collection. This band just owns my wallet

I so appreciate that we don’t have to sit here and guess what it is in advance

 

do we know what is gonna come with the Pale & Untitled deluxe re-releases? the originals were already pretty stacked. especially Untitled’s.

 

The Pale Horses collector’s edition will presumably have less than the deluxe edition that came out on release - IE no Appendix, no postcards, etc. it’ll be in line with the previous collector’s editions that have been released so far.

That said, the person who runs the mewithoutYou archive said to expect some “fun surprises” so who knows.

For the Untitled, which was already branded as Collector’s edition on release, Mike Almquist said (paraphrased) on the subreddit they wouldn’t try to top it, they’d just try to do something different from it.

 

Honestly? I like the Untitled deluxe the least of all deluxe packages they’ve done. I get what they were going for but it’s too much and comes off as boring to me.

 

Wow Quadruple rainbow

Almost grabbed the quad rainbow until I read it was a picture disc. Just got the single rainbow and the appendix EP

 

I already have the deluxe edition on black so I went with the quadruple rainbow. I've had good and bad experiences with picture disks, hopeful that with the band's quality control it will be on the good side.

 

I'm in same boat so I figured why not

now I need to sell my original rainbow deluxe from back in the day

 

Oh damn, didn't expect the Appendix. Grabbed that in a hurry.

 

Wait the appendix isn’t included in the deluxe set?

 

Guess not - gonna have to put in another order lol
