it was Zaire Franklin for sure until he broke out in a big way last year and Ashton Dulin until he tore his knee up. EJ Speed is my default answer now even though he’s technically a starter, but hopefully one of these second year guys (Segun Olubi, Grant Stuard, Trevor Denbow, etc) breaks out this year to be that guy

me too, he had a good preseason — he’d probably be my guess as to who breaks out as developmental LB4 (who probably plays more than we’d like because Leonard can’t stay on the field). Olubi is also a THUMPER who plays stupid and you know he’s gonna simultaneously fire up the team with a monster hit but also make a terrible late hit or something with the game on the line if he sees the field enough to do so

I thought it was gonna be JoJo Domann who stepped into that role but he got mystery IRed yesterday
