I would have very little expectations regarding what he could bring to the offense and only view him as a punt returner. He’s been dealing with a hamstring injury for weeks now and missed the entire preseason so maybe they think he’ll clear waivers and make it back to them. If he doesn’t, I wonder who their punt returner will be. Maybe it will be Boston Scott, but I have a tough time believing they’d dress four RBs on game days and the only other players, to my knowledge, with punt returning experiences on the roster are DeVonta Smith and Olamide Zaccheaus. You don’t want Smith returning every punt and Z has only had a few returns in his career.
