Is everyone feeling good about their team heading into the regular season now?

 

No

 

I am over confident and ready to be let down

 

I feel about the same.

- The line has looked like a mess but 4/5 starters have been out so what do you expect?

- The WR corps is bad, but it’s “enough” for the offense to improve. If they luck out and these 6th rounders are players, well simply that’s not fair and bill should still be punished.

- Mac looks super comfortable in the offense. In control at the line. I think BoB is gonna give him his best chance of showing whether he can build on his Rookie season, and whether last year was a blip or a problem.

- Defense could be nasty. But they’re def gonna have random games where they get gashed for like 200 yards by a backup RB for some reason.

- We have a punter again so that’s nice?

I'm most worried about the depth on the OL

and the inconsustency of the WR group, but there will be flashes and hopefully we can draft or sign a true #1 WR in the offseason

 

Feeling good about the birds. Only nervous about the back seven of the defense

 

Pittsburghs season is going to come down to Pickett’s and our Oline’s development and keeping the defense healthy.
Preseason was nearly perfect in all 3 phases of the ball, but those games didn’t count. And now they have to put it together for 17 games that matter. We’ll see.
Cautiously (absolutely) pumped.

 

my concerns are the same as they are every year

OL play and health of the QB

if both hold up, the Dolphins will win 10+ games

 

well Patrick Mahomes is the starting QB so yeah

 

I guess I'd feel better if they give Chris Jones an extension ASAP

because that DL is lacking

Dave summed it up pretty much perfectly. I have concerns about the Patriot's O-line & I don't feel overly encouraged by the receiving core, but I think their defense will be good (and has to be) and will keep them in games. Even though I think O'Brien is going to bring back a standard operating offense compared to last year and it will be a huge plus, it is still Bill O'Brien.

Not that it really matters, but my overall general feeling of the Patriots is simply just bored. They're boring. My gut reaction to the schedule has them at 6-7 wins and I'm sure I won't be wrong at all here
