Just watched the Meltzer/Alvarez Bray video. I had no idea that the heart condition was the main reason for Bray's release from WWE and long sabbatical from wrestling a few years ago, all the wrestling journos knew it, but it was off the record.

 

Who’s ready to hear 200,000 Jerichoholics blow the roof off of the Wembley Dome singing Judas brother

 

I predict that someone is going to do a Bray tribute spot specifically in the HoB/Acclaimed match tonight.

 

Already got my thumb hovering over the mute button

 

I’m looking for that and a tribute to terry funk from Eddie too

I’m beyond excited for excited for today! Say whatever you want about the build, lack of women’s matches, two PPV’s in consecutive weeks, etc. This is a historic moment and one of the best things to happen for Pro Wrestling in a long time. I’m so happy that AEW took this risk and the event drew way better than anyone expected. At the end of a very sad week, this is a much needed celebration of an industry we all love. Hope everyone has a blast watching this!
