I don’t think anyone is seeing your shirt and then going to give money to a random landscaper. The shirt isn’t some powerful irresistible marketing for them, it’s barely an inside political joke.

I understand this, and it almost ruined it for me as well, but the ostensible most powerful man in the country was in the process of being ousted from the job he so clearly never should have had in the first place, and someone somewhere fucked up colossally and instead of booking the luxury Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia near the Pennsylvania Convention Center in lovely downtown Philly they booked a press conference at a landscaping company in an industrial looking area just off of 95 two doors down from a sex shop and across the street from a crematorium.


Look at those fucking idiots standing behind Giuliani trying so desperately to make it seem like this is where they were all supposed to be standing! It is comedy gold. That faded and peeling NFPA panel right near all of those hastily applied trump stickers slapped on the garage door! That chubby dude on the far left in the hoody and jeans and sneakers who really looks like he just wandered up to see what the hell was going on and then decided he should stand where he is because people started talking and taking pictures!!

 

Oh yeah it was hilarious and a an all time funny Trump team moment. I was just saying it stopped me from buying any shirts or anything like that. It was still awesome

 

Not so much anymore, but back when I first got the hoodie some people would recognize what it was but not know how to read it / me, which I always enjoyed.

 

An all time moment in politics that deserves to be enshrined on all the merch it can be tbh. I really should try and find one on the secondary market.

As for the Trump fan stuff, I thought that was rumor/conjecture and never actually proven? I forget all the details though

Oh, I get it - as far as I could find out, they liked trump but fully realized it was probably a mistake that they were called but decided to just go with it and let them host a press conference there, then afterwards they realized that they had a golden albeit probably short opportunity to sell a bunch of merch, hopped all over it, and sold about a million dollars worth of shwag.

 

I see the weirdos are still being weirdos about the Bronny James news. The I have to take the other side of everything act is fucking exhausting.

 

My ex bought me the gritty four seasons shirt but I just wear it around the apartment never out in public. I can’t rep the flyers in any way.
