Crazy what happens when you rank second and fifth in rush attempts in two consecutive seasons because you play for one of the on head coaches who still prefers to utilize a workhorse back instead of a committee

 

Consider math:

1.12 yards before contact on average (career)
times 579 carries (career)
Divided by 2 years (career)

= a season average of 324 yards that are cleanly blocked. Meaning the other 700-900 are through contact from at least one tackler

getting more than twice your yards AFTER contact seems like it’s not Najee’s fault he’s averaging less than 4
