would you guys have preferred they released the 2nd single right after coachella and then nothing until october? or this route they're taking now? this rollout is just crazy to me

 

Honestly these days most album rollouts don’t make sense to me

 

yeah there's no rules anymore it seems like.

 

Rollouts with 4/5 singles 6 months out feel really odd to me now.
Would rather have a short lead-in with 1/2 singles 2 months before full release.

Quick, simple, people don't forget when your record is coming out and don't get sick of the songs.

 

By and large, the album is the least important thing for a record label ... once it's out, they may as well move onto the next album from the next artist. There's a reason every major label has a similar structure for their artists these days.
