Are we prepared to discuss this trade being one of the worst of all time? I mean, they need to win a Super Bowl like...now or else it's just a catastrophic failure.

 

Ironically, as much as we dunked on them for the rumor, it would've actually been better to take Mac at 3.

 

Miami got Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Bradley Chubb out of that trade lmao

 

I'd throw a mid-4th at SF to see if I can unlock Trey Lance. Sam Darnold though like, what more do you need to see? What situation is there that you feel like you NEED Sam Darnold

 

I have a funny feeling Lance will have a Geno like career arch, bounce around alittle bit and become a starter 5 years from now

 

who is gonna trade for him right now though? they likely wouldn't trade him to the Cardinals

The trade was simply so dumb.

They gave up sooooo much up to draft a guy they knowingly knew was super raw and had barely thrown the ball.

Then after only 2 seasons (with one lost due to injury) and still not giving him every opportunity to throw the ball and develop in year 3, after an unfortunate injury after a game without Kittle and prior to CMC in a monsoon, they’re gonna give the job to a 7th round pick.

Like clearly they don’t see it in practice either and clearly he’s prob not good. But … it just feels like such a disaster of a trade
