Isn't the whole concern that this one doesn't have any of the extra stuff from P3P or FES?

 

That is one of the big concern but there's other changes such as the soundtrack, voice actors / actresses and some of the aging mechanics (I've seen quite a few for example saying tartarus now feels quite empty) compared to Persona 5. Fans of the original who are replaying this for the nostalgia might not be bothered by some of the mechanics but I guess new fans who have purely played Persona 5 might be disappointed.

 

Tartarus is no different than mementos in P5. Yes, there’s not the typical dungeons like in P5, but the rest of the game makes up for it and holds up well IMO

 

I've been playing P4: Dancing All Night and it was jarring hearing the new VA for Chie. Forgot they replaced her on Golden.

 

I think so too but like I said, new players who have just played 5 might be disappointed by the lack of palaces and the way tartarus plays.

Tartarus always blew, but everything else in the game is great for the most part

Golden's voice for Chie is so so much better. It was a godsend they changed that. Also Kanji was recast in P4 DAN. It was originally Troy Baker and then it was Matt Mercer and they even did that in the animation, the first 12 episodes were Troy and the last 14 were Matt.
