There was a period of time, I want to say it was pre-AEW, where Dalton Castle was at the kind of level of hot where he was an Adam Cole or Tommy End or that level of "when will he sign that NXT contract and get the 6-month title run before going main roster" level of heat...he was getting huge pops in ROH and PWG...and then he had a back injury before All In that just derailed it all.

 

I have been bingewatching Billions and I just got to the episode in season 5 where Becky Lynch has a guest role as herself where she gives a motivational speech to a hedge fund about teamwork "it is important to put eachother over and do the job for eachother" lol

 

Just watching Collision now. If Dalton Castle's back wasn't made out of plywood and kleenex, I swear to God he'd be a main eventer.

It’s one hell of a hard ask for fans to pay $100 for two AEW PPV’s. Genuinely shameful they didn’t do a bundle for All In/All Out. Guess I’ll be using Nord VPN for both.

 

Randomly watching the July 6, 1998 Nitro episode (the one where Goldberg beat Hogan for the title and they’re at the Georgia Dome, 40K crowd) and after 35-40 minutes there have been 2 matches, maybe 8 minutes total. The rest has been clips of previous shows, random people talking, and talking about future events. It’s just so, so bad lol how is this what they come up with for such a huge show that they knew well in advance lol

 

I was at that show. I was also 10 so I don’t really remember much of it besides somebody hitting my stepsister in the back of the head with a tennis ball after the main event was over and my dad almost going to jail chasing the guy up the seats lol

 

guess I didn't realize stupidly that All In starts at like noon or some shit on Sunday - being the father of a 2 year old there's zero chance I'm gonna get to watch that haha
