Alchemy Index has never been one of my favorite Thrice releases anyway

    Same.

But it’s easily the coolest vinyl I own despite being 4 10 inch records. The book is just so good.

I just think as an album, it’s too long and feels way too all over the place. Which is obviously intentional. The book layout really lends to viewing each EP as a different project or section of a collection. One that you can go to and listen in any order and as much or little at a time. An actual index you can look up what vibe or feeling you want. Viewing each EP as it’s own thing just makes each one feel stronger.

Death Touches Us, From the Moment we Begin to Love Supporter

Fire is my fav. But it's so compressed on vinyl it does not sound good at all. The other discs sound much better but it definitely isint audiophile quality.

Plus I remember when Earth dropped and they covered Frodus, I had even more respect for the guys.

    Frodus is highly underrated.

I think Alchemy Index is one of my favorite Thrice releases. I really like how you get so a nice portion of each style, but also plenty of variety over the whole project. I have all three pressings, but I actually haven't been able to bring myself to open any of them, so I can't comment on the audio quality compared to my CDs.

Got my tracking yesterday. Less than 24 hours and it's here!!

Bless you Dine Alone for releasing these and unlocking my teenage memories. (albeit a month and a half early)

  17. Wax Bodega definitely bought Triple Crown's back catalog right? I mean Triple Crown is barely a label these days.

Didn’t Coheed self-release Afterman? So they should own the masters and all that, right?

Repress that shit. It’s the tenth anniversary of Descension. Gimme.
