Different sam, that was Sam Pura. This is Sam Guaiana, he’s worked with Silverstein, we were sharks, between you & me, bayside, neck deep, and tons more! Great collaborator and person :)

I think my least favorite thing about this album is the generic cover art

 

I like this a lot. “Blue in the Dark” is still my favorite LP from them by a long shot, but this is solid.

This rules.

I loved Blue in the Dark but found the follow up patchy. This is much better.

Pretty much every song on this is catchy and fun, and the saxophone solo on Ocean Dream is awesome.

all good! glad you dug it, if you wanna hear more the whole album is on band camp, fun pop punk from the 2010s era (may be on spotify too)

 

Bit late to this record but really enjoying it. Slip and Ocean Dream are total bangers and Don't Wanna Forget About It and Go Long aren't far behind. Some of the best songs they've written imo. Feel the single choices mostly lean into the catchier poppier stuff on the record, which is fine enough too. Scenery isn't my favourite by any means but damn, it gets stuck in my head. Agree it feels stronger than their last record.
