Sylvan Esso at Forest Hills in Queens got cancelled (presumably due to low ticket sales). That is a BIG booking to shit the bed on sales-wise.

I’m hyped for this! So stoked that Woodstock 94 is getting a proper release. I was obsessed with watching that set when I was like, 13. Really hope we get some anniversary shows

Imagine if they did a dual 20-Year American Idiot / 30-Year Dookie tour and played both

I’ve been saying it for years. 2024 California takeover of Riot Fest.

Green Day plays American Idiot + Covers one night. Dookie + deep cuts another night.

Operation Ivy reunites to headline a night.

final Chicago NOFX appearance, Jawbreaker, and Jello Biafra playing a Dead Kennedys set round out the sub-headliners.

That's surprising that they would cancel a show due to low sales, seems like they have drawn extremely well or sold out every time I've seen them. Granted it probably helps they are local to me so of course they sell out here. I don't know much about Forest Hills or if it's something they should sell well at.

Forest Hills is a 13,000 capacity outdoor stadium. They typically do 2k-3k rooms here, so it was definitely wayyyyy too ambitious.

Oh yeah that makes sense haha. I know they do well at festivals and obviously when they put on shows here but 13k is a lot. I also don't really know how good the reception to their latest release has been.

  13. Yeah gimme a Dookie tour.

Give me a green day tour, not in arenas and amphitheaters.

    Things have changed.

It would be stadiums for a Dookie/American Idiot tour.

Give me Hella Mega 2. Green Day does Dookie. FOB does Cork Tree. Weezer does Blue Album

The Offspring tour on Sunday is at the same venue the AAR tour is on Monday. Wish these could combine and be one big fest haha

Had tickets for AAR/NFG/TSL tomorrow in Boston, but I'm exhausted and not wanting to drive all the way there for the third time in a little over two weeks (with another trip for Jimmy/MO coming next week) so I opted to sell them off. As a compromise, I'm going to the final date of Yellowcard tomorrow in Portland (a cool 70 minute drive instead of 3+ hours.) Worcester show was great, so I'm happy to have a chance to see 'em again on this run.

Bought a ticket for mudvayne tonight and box office staff told me they only sold about 4000 tickets and this venue fits a bit over 10k I believe

Are you at Five Point? IMS, that venue has a 12k cap. That means it’s only 1/3 sold. Ouch
