I talked myself into just because it’s one of my faves.

• Collectors version, gatefold Jacket w/ diecut slit to house 7” on left panel w/ spot UV gloss & matte finish.
• Includes custom booklet – 32 pages in total with two separate sizes stapled within one another
  - 16 pages 12”x10” (original album booklet)
  - 16 pages 5.5”x8.5” (new liner notes with write up on the album/additional liner notes and photos)
• Gluepocket 7” Jacket 4/4, housed within the Gatefold Jacket

Looking forward to those new liner notes!

Best Mae album IMO. I always say I’ve heard a lot of bands do the sound from the everglow but Mae did it the best but I’ve never heard a band sound exactly like D:B

 

i prefer their debut album best. D:B is top tier mae for me, i fell off after singularity but those first 3 albums still hit me for after all these years later!

Singularity was underrated imo. Their first two are better but I think Brink of Disaster gets stuck in my head as often as Embers and Envelopes and Suspension.

How does it sound? I’ve heard glow vinyl is notorious for sounding awful.

 

I saw them tour Singularity when they opened for The Fray. I should go back and listen. It's been years and none of the variants have sold out at Spartan Records!

I'm just waiting for Spartan Records to drop their represses of all the Shiner albums!

I snagged the /250 alt cover red. All my Menzinger lps are all standard black so I figured I'd bite the bullet on what could be one of my top albums this year!

Just realized their playing Toronto on my birthday and I haven't seen them live..... Hmmmm...
