I think we need to sign a RW. We don’t really have anyone behind Kulu and he’s been inconsistent for awhile now.

 

No idea what to expect out of this Chelsea team, let's go

 

I think there’s definite quality in both of these squads but I really am not convinced by the make up or balance of either teams. I just don’t see any of Chelsea/Liverpool/Spurs breaking into the top four, I think City/Arsenal/United/Newcastle are just too settled to be challenged. Obviously anything can happen but there are too many question marks surrounding those who finished outside the top 4.

Good goal, but just like all of last year you can tell that this Chelsea back line has never played a game together.

Saying this as a United fan, Caicedo would be mental to join Chelsea over Liverpool. Not just based on the prestige and history and size of the two clubs, but is there anything remotely more enticing about this Chelsea project? Are they offering double the salary?

Neither of these teams are doing anything of note this season imo. Liverpool’s midfield looks ok, but there’s literally no defensive cover here. Chelsea just seem a mess in most positions.

Robertson needs to stop jumping out to Reece James. It looked like he'd learnt his lesson but he's just done it again. James and Sterling keep combining their way into the inside channel; Robertson should stay narrow and let James receive the ball on the outside.

 

Liverpool getting cut open in the middle like a hot knife through butter. Exactly what you expect for a team lining up with four forwards and two number 10s.

 

When play settles down there's space in midfield, space behind, and space on the outside for whichever team has the ball. So far, a match without an owner.

 

would like to see Jota off, Gakpo up top, and Curtis Jones slotting in where Gakpo was in midfield

or if it takes a while for subs to manifest, Jota and Gakpo off, Darwin and Jones on
