elaiza's vocals are great

 

I can hear she is a talented vocalist. I just have to come around to the style of it and melodies. I have hope though. Maybe after I hear the whole thing.

This album is ridiculous

 

I love this a lot on my first listen. It reminds me a lot of The Most Serene Republic. Well and Spring, There Was A Door, and Revive are early favorites

 

she's got some Fresh Prince theme song type flow on There Was A Door

 

Pardon my ignorance but wtf is 'chiptune' ?

 

music that uses video game sounds and gaming systems as instruments
for example i put on a show with a dude who did like mathrock stuff with his guitar hooked up to gameboys

 

After seeing them live last week, I wish I liked this album more than I do.

It's not bad, and the instrumentation is fantastic. Something about the melodies just isn't sitting well with me.

Will try to articulate my thoughts better in a little bit.
