My fiancé and I are fostering a tiny tiny chihuahua that has a broken pelvis, and she’s been posting about the pup’s progress in a popular dog Facebook group. The posts have gotten like 20k likes and comments.

I don’t like that so many people have seen the carpet in my house

The guys above me is dropping is cigarette ashes onto my front porch. It was all over my door mat. You’re not even suppose to smoke on your porch/balcony

 

The fact that some (usually deceased) artists have never-ending money-grabbing and post-humous releases that clog up their Spotify discography. Like, I just had a Bowie song I wanted to listen to from Black Star, his last proper album, and had to scroll through dozens of re-releases and remastered live albums from the past 7-8 years just to get to it

And sure, I could just search for it, but it's the principle of the thing!

 

Same with having to scroll through all of Randy Newman's Pixar discography to get to his studio albums. They should have separate pages!

Lazy ass grown adults. Like people who don’t clean the lint trap in communal dryers. People I work with who don’t pick up after themselves. It’s literally so bad at my work, my boss is even annoyed and says it’s like he lives in a frat house

 

For sure most for the time! Was just a little stressed this afternoon lol. My mom and aunt came to visit and they got here an hour and a half earlier than anticipated. Had some grocery shopping to do after work before they showed up

 

I am absolutely terrified of spiders and just had an absolutely pants shitting experience.

I’m sitting here building a Lego set when suddenly I see a spider on the wall 2 feet from me. And it’s not a normal small one I find from time to time but a black, bigger one. Body maybe the size of a dime.

I literally fling myself backwards in panic, damn near tipping to the floor in my chair. I sprint to my bathroom to grab something to kill it with (bathroom being about 20 feet from where I was sitting), turn on the light and an IDENTICAL FUCKING SPIDER is on the floor. I immediately kill it and sprint back and kill the other one.

Now I’m sprinting around my apartment with a bottle of 409 and a box of Kleenex desperately hoping to find no others and hoping there aren’t more elsewhere I cannot see.

Like what the fuck. What are the odds of the same type of spider being out and about at the same time but in two totally different parts of my apartment. I’ve never encountered that before. And where the fuck did they come from???? Why were they so far apart??? What were they up to??? Oh my god I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight, I’m fucking shaking and feel itchy everywhere.

 

I bought some bed sheets from Costco, washed them and there is a little fucking hole/snag in the pillow case *angry face*

 

Instagram is showing me ads for clothing I think is cute but they must think I'm rich because it's for like $200 shoes and $120 pants like the tech overlords should know me a lil better than that

 

That happens to me too. Like oh that’s a nice flannel oh it’s $180. Why?

 

Went to a thrift store and their fitting rooms are closed and all sales are final. Guess I’m not buying anything bc picking a size, especially in pants, is impossible without trying on. I have pants that are a size 2 up to an 8 so who knows what size I really am!!

 

Thunderstorms flickering my power multiple times a week these days and dropping my internet connection. Climate change is definitely alive and well. The amount of storms we've been getting this summer is unreal

Found out from my boss today that someone tried to file for unemployment using my information so that’s great!!! I love how the 1 time I actually tried to file I couldn’t bc when I was making an account I got an error. So I never got the pin I needed to verify my identity but someone who isn’t even me can somehow get access to it. Super great system they have!
