im not bought into the titans the way some nfl media folks are. i do think the jags win the division, but its not because theyre gonna be world beaters.

I bet the panthers win the NFC South with somewhere right around a .500 record

I could see the lions disappointing relative to expectations, but maybe not, the division’s bad

chargers missing the playoffs feels like a foregone conclusion

I don’t think the Titans will totally suck like everyone seems to think, but I do feel comfortable giving the Jags the division title building on last year with a real coach and quarterback

I never said world beaters. I am saying competitive enough to be a threat in the playoffs though (not anyone’s favorite, but a legit underdog)

And tbh, yes I am surprised people aren’t continuing to crown the Titans. Credit to the Jags is a low bar. I have to specify “Jaguars” if I want to search Jimmy Smith. Who is a top 25 receiver in yards of all time. Fred Taylor is a top 20 rusher in yards of all time who only got into a single Pro Bowl because one of the top 3 voted backs got hurt. The 1999 team that went 14-2 was continually mocked, even called the Jagwads in news articles as they entered the playoffs.

And in all other internet circles, Fields is stated to be better or “higher potential” than Trevor Lawrence, and people point to Lawrence having a 4 INT game (and WINNING) as a reason why he’s not good, even though he only threw 2 INT total in the 9 games before that. Jags never get any credit at all when they are good lol

 

i have no issue rooting for the Lions but i think them and the giants are gonna have a veryyy similar season and end up at like 9-8 when it comes to a wildcard spot, and i obviously would prefer the giants get in over the Lions lol

i think Cowboys Lions Giants and Seahawks are gonna be the 4 teams fighting for the 3 wildcard spots, cowboys and seahawks feel like the easiest picks if the seahawks run it back. so, 1 spot left!!!
