Good to see new music from A Story Told. That first album is still in rotation from time to time.

 

Petey dropped another single for his new album today and it's great. Lean Into Life was one of my favorites when it came out in 2021 and between these two singles, I'm definitely going to enjoy USA when it comes out next month.

I hope this post is relevant in this comment section, because it does involve a new release from al band im sure back in the day was covered everywhere

Anyways…….

What’s the deal with these “sped up,” versions of songs? I know i’ve come across at least 3 in the past couple weeks. The most recent(august. 4) was from American HiFi for “flavor of the week.” I am using Apple Music if that matters.

I typed in “sped up” hoping to figure this out an all im seeing is two playlists that basically have taken any and every track ppl use on tiktok. But this song and the other couple that come from out scene i’ve seen in past 2-3 weeks . I just don’t understand why all these bands and artists are doing this.

I hope someone here has an answer !!
