Considering Todd kinda went apeshit on Metalsucks and blamed Magrudergrind for the Young and In The Way sexual assault allegations in a "they didn't do it" moment, I can't blame them for leaving. Dude is a hell of a musician, songwriter, and frontperson, but just seems like a difficult person to be in a band with.

Missed out on seeing any Nails show sadly and was listening to Unsilent last night and made me regret never going to see them when I could.

 

Totally get it. I got to see then live twice during the You Will Never Be One of Us cycle and both shows were among some of the best I've ever been to.

 

Saw them in a tiny bar with Xibalba a decade ago, now THAT was scary

This has been my favorite metallic hardcore (I think that's what we're calling this?) release so far this year. The riffs go so hard and it's pretty relentless.

 

I saw the name come up somewhere the other day and the only reason I remembered it was bc I first confused it for the deathcore band Paleface. If they're from TX though, I'll give them a shot.
