Anyway, I had made a shortlist of albums I'm looking forward to this year and it grew a little, but i don't have it with me now, so I'll have to wing it/edit later. So far, only one of those albums has been released.

2/17 Avatar: Dance Devil Dance* (was one of their better albums, but it still didn't give me goosebumps) After hearing live clips from their current tour, I've grown to love this and now own the album. :)
3/10 Story of the Year: Tear Me to Pieces+(love this!)
5/19 The Used: Toxic Positivity+(tracks 1 and 3 were a miss for me, but then the album gets better. I do want it for my collection, and will listen to it more. Most of the album is really enjoyable, but didn't wow me as much as Heartwork.)

I like to post a separate update every month or two with some recent highlights for discussion purposes. And plenty of people will chime in now and then with what they're listening to or what has stood out to them.

 

Yeah, I've just been going back to edit my original post, and I just remember what page number my post is on. It really helps my top releases of the year lists in December because I have it all saved here.

Only downside is because we are all just editing, this forum seems quiet because not many people are adding new replies or posts.
