Interesting to see Matty see when there is no line between the art and the artist. Seems like he grew to detest Caveh a bit, as Caveh really didn’t have a good reason to be airing his ex-wife’s personal laundry on the air

also Caveh was absolutely blasted lol

 

Publicly broadcasts his divorce to spite his wife and then includes his (creepily young) girlfriend in this film against her wishes. Seems like an awful bloke. Wondered if he was having some sort of introspective moment while being stoned and castigated by Matty but clearly not lol

 

Seems like he fulfills the worst of the stereotype of artist, justifying his destructive actions for the sake of “art”. Pretty gross

 

Or maybe that’s the joke lol idk. Not familiar with him.

 

I couldn't make it more than 10 minutes through the video. No idea who Caveh is but the whole no editing the video thing was awkward/uncomfortable.

 

Saw the word bloke in your post and instantly knew you were British. Feels like we are a dying breed on Chorus!

 

Man that was a weird video. Matty's whole vibe changed, and you could tell he did not like what that Caveh guy was sating about his family. Making him do massive rips that caused him to cough, and then turning to his mate and saying "Yo this pretty chill" made me laugh.

But yeah. dude seems like a total bellend. Seemed to totally not care about having a relationship with his children.

Also, I like that he basically got Denise to pick him up lol.

I really like this. Still wishing for an album that largely goes in a direction like this and songs like Please Be Naked, Lostmyhead, How to Draw, Me, Fallingforyou, Frail State of Mind, I Think There’s Something You Should Know, etc.

 

saw them live for first time last night at that show. band is too good. I’m mad at myself for taking so long to get into them.
