i'm sure tonight will be great as always, but what a nothing card for a 200th celebration. Storm/Shida is gonna rule and all matches look fun, but... ROH Tag Titles on Dynamite shouldn't be a thing unless it's part of an angle imo.

 

That is one of the conflicting narratives. Is that Russo says they were told, that everything that happened post-Hogan/Jarrett he went over with them before the show. Bishoff says they were never told and Russo booked it on the fly behind their backs. Russo brings up the same point you did.

 

I mean unless they were under the impression that Goldberg vs Nash was indeed the main/final match of the night.

It would have possibly been an even crazier night if they didn't leave the arena and watched it unfold backstage.

 

One of Russo's points too was "if they didn't know I was going to cut the promo, then why did they leave early? That was the entire reason for them leaving because of Hogan was in the building he would have had to come beat my ass during the promo"

 

I feel bad that Jarrett was place in that spot between two shitty bookers, because based on some of the insight he gives here he clearly has more booking knowledge then both Russo and Bischoff combined.

 

Why are people so fixated on the title thing and not the fact that we get Aussie fucking Open on the show? They could come out with cardboard titles for all I care.

 

My two favorite parts of last night's dsotr involved Meltzer

because they have hours of ROH TV they are doing zero with and i wanna see guys relevant to the milestone being celebrated

 

Nobody should be complaining about Aussie Open vs Vikingo/Komander lol That’s the kind of ROH title match that I have no problem at all being on AEW TV. This card actually looks like a lot of fun with some matchups we have never been before. We are spoiled lol

 

there has been more made of this comment than the comment itself haha. it's cool y'all are pumped for it, but it is a themed episode and it's not like we don't get Vikingo/Kommander at least once if not multiple times a week.

 

also Kommander is bad

So this is apparently happening less than a mile away from my apartment. I feel so bad if it gets slammed because the construction on that road right now is an absolute fucking nightmare.

 

my only issue with roh matches in aew tv is the ease of access. i see what they’re trying to do..

ziggler winning the nxt title last year and don dom currently north american champ is to get more exposure to the nxt brand. it works in a sense cause the nxt show is on the same network as raw. there isn’t any extra required effort to watch.

if friday’s rampage was the ROH hour and that’s what they would try to get more viewers for? fine. it’s in a network that airs their programming already. but to promote a lesser than/developmental brand behind a pay wall?? i think it defeats the purpose.

now if aew gets added to the max app and that’s where you get weekly roh shows? that makes more sense to me.

 

I still don’t know where I can watch ROH.

 

i just really don't know why they went with a themed Dynamite when they clearly didn't have anything organic to put on it. Riho/Nyla, Jericho/Hangman are some of the matches they could run with people already on the road that would feel like an homage. three day one OGs in a "anything goes" triple threat (or, as known more commonly, a regular triple threat) just feels like cramming an assignment in the night before

 

it's ten bucks a month at honorclub

 

Honor Club. Or Baked for free.

 

Id be more inclined to pay that if it included AEW.
