2. Update: yeah it wasn't good haha. Caitlin is good in it tho at least. I think if you liked Deadstream (which I didn't) you might have a fun time with this.

Talk To Me kind of fell apart for me the towards the end. A lot of stuff happened very quickly without a lot of “rules” laid out. Super inventive plot and good acting though.

The one rule was broken very early on

Yeah honestly I found it very easy to look past any potential plot holes or rule issues because of the films’s momentum.

6. I haven't seen it yet, and I like Scream 6, but second to that?? Haha

Wow, Shawnee is back AND it looks like a throwback to the best one (Saw 2). Hell yeah.

How do I spoiler something? I have Talk To Me questions that are holding it back from being a 4 star rather than a 3 1/2 star on my letterboxd lol

8. use
and
(without the spaces)

or just talk about it in the film's thread

My girlfriend and I finally watched Midsommar last night after avoiding it forever because we had a really bad time with Hereditary. I'm shocked that I loved it, kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it wasn't nearly as anxiety inducing as I feared. I had totally made up a bunch of scenes in my head that never came. Beautiful movie.

Also finally got to Smile, super solid, lots of fun.

No, it was way too much for me at the time. I think I was in a bad headspace, but also just the unrelenting bleakness, dread, and anxiety is not really my bag. I appreciate the craft and love that people love it. It just ruined my day and that's not what I'm looking for in a movie. I think I could probably have more fun with it now and might try to rewatch at some point.

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

It's easy to see why Hereditary is so captivating. It truly makes you feel something and a lot of times, it's proving to be too much.

16. I also prefer Midsommar even if I think Hereditary is probably the better movie. (But Beau is also my favorite Aster yet.)

I've never seen a film push the limits of human emotion the way Hereditary does. Really captured a level of pain I thought was unfilmable before I saw it. That's why I don't think I'll see a scarier movie.

Is anyone supposed to have a ...good... time with Hereditary?

If so, I'm not sure I need that person in my life. Lol.

22. Villains is a pretty fun time, great charismatic performances from all four leads. Love Maika Monroe in everything I've seen her in so far

Villains was solid from what I remember. Bummed about Radio Silence letting go of Scream 7 but tbh I like the gamble we get with a change up and Chris Landon sounds promising. Saw X looks rad.
