My friend told me he was revisiting his favorite albums of all time list and it got me doing the same and it made me realize that two of my three favorite albums from 2020 that are most definitely among my favorites ever at this point were albums from bands I never listened to prior to 2020 and only did because buddies here were tweeting about them or posting in the threads. They’ve remained in constant rotation for three years now and I haven’t gotten sick of them

these bands are heavy right? I listen to way less heavy music these days

 

Hum is a heavy, atmospheric alt rock band. Loathe is like Deftones and it’s more metalcore influence and slightly weirder song structures
