Sickening. I'm sure the pilot was remorseful but that's such a gross way to go about it. I'm sure Tanimoto had no resentment towards the pilot, at least before this was recorded.

For an actual reading of Mr. Tanimoto’s experience I highly recommend John Hersey’s book ‘Hiroshima.’ The guy is a hero for the people of that city and he saw more than the pilot could ever imagine.

The book is very short but has amazing accounts from witnesses of that day and their lives later on. I believe it’s currently $2 on Apple Books.

Unfortunately, I think I could see Musk being successful with a WeChat-like app in the long run. He's going to always have enough money to pump into it for development and marketing. Maybe not on WeChat-like popularity levels, but still pretty big.

 

Woke up to find that Twitter has switched over to X on my phone so I also did this lol. Now if only I could get rid of the obnoxious X at the top of the app when I open it. And also Musk.
