Ali > Pascal > McConaughey.

I was bummed when Ali didn’t get it. Thankfully Pedro Pascal really knocked it out of the park though.

 

pedro is perfect for the role, neither of the other two would have worked as well as he did

 

Personally couldn't see Ali or McConaughey in the role. I understand the angle, but it just doesn't work for me. I don't think I could take McConaughey seriously if he did it. Pedro is amazing and brought his own flair to the role. Perfect casting. Can't wait to see how his career progresses.

 

Craig also confirmed again that the show is not ending with Season 2 unless they don’t get renewed. And for those that don’t know, Halley Gross, who iss mentioned in the tweet below, was a co-writer with Neil on TLOU2.

This bodes well for the rumors about Naughty Dog's next game being TLOU3, because idk how they spread out the story from TLOU2 to potentially cover 4 seasons regardless of how many episodes they do in the seasons.

 

The show and the game feeds each other. I would be SHOCKED if Part 3 wasn't in active production right now as I type this

She likely works for Marvel. Has been pretty spot on with most of the leaks for them, but I think she's hit or miss outside of them. I think Shannon would be great, but I'll wait for official word.

 

fwiw Shannon, Niel and Craig have followed each other on Insta by the time they wrapped season 1 so it's within the realm of possibilities.
