I do have a Kaonashi decal on the back of my SUV so I guess it's up there as an all time fav. My boys watch the movie as well which I love!

Yeah everything on Discogs is at least $120 CDN all in. My go to Le Noise had a copy for $79 CDN a few weeks ago. I told myself I'd grab on payday, it was gone in a day...

I'll pay itdon't get me wrong. I just dropped $110 CDN on a copy of Hitsugibungaku's latest lp a half an hour ago.......

 

So, some may recall me saying I put an offer on a copy of this and it got declined. That was true. And I said I’m glad I’ll be saving money. But then my brain said, “Greg, you have dead mom money, put an offer on another one.” So I did. And they accepted it. So, now I don’t have to worry about making sure I snag the upcoming repress. My collection of Andrew vinyl is complete. Thanks, mom. She also had bought me the player for Christmas and most of my other Andrew vinyl for my birthday last year. Tell your mom you love her. I assure you, you can’t do it enough.

Not bad! Now I'm trying to remember what my biggest vinyl splurge was...

 

Mine was only $75. Was almost $150 for Saosin's self titled. After 30+ minutes of thinking, I walked out of the store haha

 

This seems to be my limit haha I paid the same for North and I haven’t gone higher.

 

I paid close to $200 for an OG orange/white pressing of IKS back in the day. Sold it shortly before the 2014ish repress.

 

I paid the same for North, but might have went a bit higher on some blink records.

 

I was able to find blink fairly cheap since they were all black variants.

 

Most spent on an album (CDN dollars):

Jimmy Eat World "Clarity" $120 (OG press. Won it on eBay in 2006)

Opeth "Damnation" and "Deliverance $120 each off a friend of mine.

Hitsugibungaku "our hope" $108 (bought it today on my lunch break)

Dont get me started on box sets though!

 

I got all limited variants and was ready to sell my kidney for Dogs Eating Dogs, but restrained myself. Maybe one day I'll find it in a record shop - at least that's what I'm telling myself. I'm sure we'll never see a repress.

 

I’m not bothered with Dogs Eating Dogs haha sounds like that’s a good thing for my wallet.

WHY WONT THEY DO A PRESS WITH THE DEMOS ON VINYL? I WOULD PAY ALL THE MONEY FOR MY THIRD COPY OF THIS ALBUM

 

Per an earlier conversation, I totally jinxed myself. Just received a copy of Sum 41 - Half Hour of Power (the MOV one) and it's warped like I've never seen before. Holy hell.

 

There was recently a copy of New Surrender on Discogs for $150 and I wouldn't have hesitated to buy it at all before this year, but couldn't justify it with current finances.
