Still not gonna watch that league. Absolutely nobody I've spoken to wants to either...

Maybe it’s gonna lead to a push for Saudi Arabia to join UEFA instead of Asia

I can totally see an end goal of being given like honorary membership of Uefa and 1 place per year in the Champions League.

Some older fans say overseas supporters aren’t as passionate, but IMO, they’re really getting involved in football culture.

I have heard this mentioned by journalists and 100% suspect this is true.

  8. Reports coming out of Germany that we’ve already held talks with Kolo-Muani about a transfer. Hope it’s true because he is definitely my top option if Kane leaves.

If he was set for life already, what would he be set for now? Lol

He would be stupid TO take it. He will probably be close to a billionaire by the time his career is over when you couple wages and endorsement money. Throwing a year of your career away while you’re at your peak would show a complete lack of respect for the top tier of the game and your own career.

What if he takes the move and then moves to UEFA for UCL knockouts?

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

What lack of respect? These men grind their entire lives to get to this level of their profession. His field of work is now giving him an opportunity to obscene wealth for 12 months of employment. It will not hurt his reputation in the slightest to move to Saudi Arabia and then move to a more "respectable" team in a year, like Arsenal.

He'd be dumb not to take it.

Mbappe does not need the money. He plays for PSG and probably earns > €70,000,000 pa. Unless he wants a fleet of super yachts docked on his own private Caribbean island, he’ll be fine.

What he should be maximising is his time. It would be dumb to waste a year of his career in a nothing league watched by no one (insert Ligue 1 joke here), without even the benefit of CL football.

But, unless a PL team offers a big fee for a 1yr loan, he might run out of options.

  19. PSG coming in strong for Kane. The thought of him on that team makes me cringe but I’m rooting for that outcome now just for the Bayern tears.

He’s already made an entire lifetime of obscene wealth! You are a loser to sacrifice a year of competitive football in a career where tomorrow is never promised and longevity isn’t guaranteed. The chase for an ever growing net worth is poison, we’ve already seen it derail Neymar’s career. Guy could’ve had a career to rival Messi but sold out to play on a Globetrotters squad in a one team league.

These players can path out their careers however they like, but i’m going to judge them for choosing money of sporting ambition every day of the week.

The only teams stupid enough to pay the massive (€50+?) loan fee PSG probably want are Chelsea and Barcelona, and only one of them can afford him.

Wouldn't RM push for Mbappe to go get that wealth so they don't need to drop everything for his weekly wages? If they played it smart couldn't he go the Tom Brady route and take the lower end of the high earners? Allow RM to build the best squad for him and the club
