If you're staying in TX I recommend Fort Worth area, as someone living directly in between Dallas and Fort Worth it offers a lot IMO especially in terms of affordability while still being in civilization and having culture. Plus I imagine there is plenty of football work to be had

The fact that Rise of Skywalker not only undoes everything set up in the prior two movies, but undoes everything of meaning from the original trilogy makes it irredeemable. It also fumbles Rey and Finn, which sucks.

 

It comes across like 2 elementary schoolers playing with action figures to figure out the plot

Kerby is good, if Walker is healthy and back in form he’s good. Branch has me optimistic too. We have good depth at safety, it just sucks turning a bonafide strength at a position to just okay.

 

Star Wars was Extremely My Shit growing up. The Force Awakens gave me a reason to be interested in the new trilogy, but I did not like The Last Jedi. Still to this day, I have not seen The Rise of Skywalker

 

My brother LOVES that ROS retcons everything in 8. Can't stand it.

If we had the option we'd be gone by now for sure. I like this area a lot as a place to live and raise a family and stuff but there's so many better options in terms of not suffering through all this (plus many better options politically)
