I probably am eh on the song because by the time I get to it on a California album listen I’m a bit burnt out. It’s weird because the album length time wise is shorter than Dude Ranch, TOYPAJ (with the bonus tracks), and Untitled yet it doesn’t feel like it and really drags to me once you get to Kings of the Weekend minus Left Alone and San Diego.

 

Right where that song belongs.

I think you’re misunderstanding…

 

Some of the songs on the deluxe album are amazing. Songs like misery, don’t mean anything, 6/8 and wildfire never get the love they deserve.

My hot take is that Left Alone is bottom 3 on California (excluding joke songs). Just does nothing for me

I always get "Left Alone" and "No Future" confused with each other. "Left Alone" is by far the better one. But I still think it's just mid tier compared to the some of the others. If my name was Tom, I'd say "it's in my Top 8."

 

I mean this respectfully. How on earth do you get No Future and Left Alone mixed up lol. The first is like if AI wrote a blink song and the second is probably the best song on the album haha.

Would be a good album

 

I'm just so happy to have gotten to see Cynical live finally. I missed it on the 2019 tour and I was super bummed. Tom sounds great singing it and it definitely "checked a box" for me.

These next few weeks are going to build hype pretty quickly for us blink-heads.

 

I’m just curious what direction they went in for the full album. Haven’t really seen them mention much about it.
