Yeah I listened to Nine a bunch the last week. I'd kill to listen to the back half of that album again for the first time (pun intended)

  3. I really wish they’d been able to do an actual tour for Nine. I’d kill to hear most of those songs live, and now we probably never will, which is too bad.

For real. From like The Runaway til the end of the album is pretty dope.

Hardcore agree. Would love to hear Pin The Grenade live. And basically most of the album.

I think this is a WILD take, but that's the fun thing about opinions.

But it’s not. The vast number of fans would agree with that. Not all, of course. But enough that it is not a wild take.

I said it a long time ago in this thread and I only half believe it, but I wanna re-up incase I'm right.

if Tom ever came back: they do a huge reunion tour, a new album, another tour on the album, and then they hang it up.

set themselves up for the rest of their lives. They’re all getting older, and they’ll be even older when it’s time to fire the thing up again for another tour or new record.

Like I said, I only half believe it but I could see it being feasible, or at least slowing wayyyyyyy down after this cycle.

Anyone have an idea of what size each band members slice of that pie is? Im just curious what percentage they get vs what live nation/everyone else involved is gonna take

After live nation gets its cut they each get $1.82

  15. People say this with every veteran band but honestly I just see them hanging on as long as they want and their personal life and health allow them to. They've got so many things going on outside blink so like their peers (I mean acts that have been around for 20 / 30+ years like them, not necessarily pop-punk peers), I see them continuing to be active indefinitely as long as they continue to tour. Perhaps releasing music at a much slower pace but hey we've already been used to this with Tom lol

If Bruce can play worldwide tours 3 hours a night at 74, these guys can do half that until their 60’s.

Blowing through NINE and California this morning. BIOMY live debut at GMA was posted yesterday. Still think that single / album rollout was a huge mistake. Can't come around on that song but the record as a whole rips.

Runaway has become a dark horse contender for my favorite song. The layered harmonies on the chorus are absurd and I love it all so much.

I don't mind the song on the album but it should have not been the single. It was strange that the Nine rollout was so messy when the California one was done so well.

I'm hoping they have a good rollout plan with this new album, especially with the buzz that the band has right now coming off a huge tour.

The world tour announcement/promo /video/radio play for edging was all stellar. I have no doubt the moment an announcement happens hype will be as off the charts as it was back in October.

NIINE rollout was so bad. I remember when I hit play on the album I was so confused because the Feldman songs felt like a cohesive album and then the other songs were their own thing. It is wild they didn't do one feldman song to get everyone hyped and then Darkside followed by the other poppier songs after to ease everyone in. The generational divide video was rad though. I liked that a lot.

I still think it’s funny/interesting that Feldy gets so much hate. Some of it is justified, the song structures on California are the same, for example. Yet his work on NINE is outstanding. He doesn’t get enough credit for helping save the band when Tom left.

Alright finished California / NINE. I am so fond of these records. IMO Claifornia is a perfect reimagining/revisiting of the Enema era songs with a modern take. NINE would be better if the feldman songs were an entire album and there was a deluxe/double album situation with all the heavily co-written songs as well as all of the ones that never saw the light of day with big artists. They call it experimental like Untitled and I get that in Travis's drum parts but not in the songwriting or tone. There are some truly amazing songs/parts on the record.

California is by far my favorite album cover from blink. D Face rules and it’s wild they got him to do a cover. He’s got a huge piece in downtown Miami that I love.

Pretty sure BIOMY did well in the end, but I bet Darkside could have crushed as a lead single.

It whiffed pretty hard. I don't remember where but Mark talked about being bummed fans rejected it because it felt to them like quintessential blink.

Does anyone know if there have been any audio rips from their tour besides Coachella? I have both of those but I need more!
