I like the idea of the conveyor belt but it may suck. Won’t know until I walk on it myself I suppose. I mean but add the Minion cafe, bakery, popcorn, and ice pop stand. That’s a whole damn new land built in that time.

Todays Disney news was for their 100th celebration you can meet Mickey and Minnie in a new costume, watch a bunch of lights glow somewhat to music, and eat themed food.

I want to love Disney World bc honestly we are not big city travelers and it is a safe place to bring my kids but they just seem to have no need to make things more appealing.

We went in June and honestly the only thing that stands out to me as being pretty awesome over the past few years is Skippers Canteen. Our waiter was a riot. I’m huge into Star Wars and just feel like I need to try to enjoy that. Huge difference from HP areas in Universal. Oh yea and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is great.

Animal Kingdom is just a barren wasteland of nothing. Going in the former Dinosaur area is truly depressing.

Can’t wait till my kids are old enough to enjoy Universal fully.

Every park needs 3 new rides (not updates or replacements).

worry less about lands and more about attractions. And not just E tickets.

Building these lands would be a huge mistake. There is like no dining or merchandise options they could use with this (especially Coco). The Villains land would be the best bang for their buck. Basically knock off what Universal is doing with classic monsters.

Yea unfortunately I feel Universal set the bar too high with Harry Potter. I’d be jazzed to ride a few highly themed carnival rides in Epcot similar to what they have over on Pixar Pier.

Ehhh HS needs alottt of updates and/or replacements right now.

Muppetvision, RnRC, B&B musical, Little Mermaid theatre is empty, they need to do something with Launch Bay, Star Tours needs an update.

That B&B spot is perfect for Encanto Live, which was on Disney + and my kids love. Obviously they don’t need the real actors.

That whole backlot area needs to be razed and could fit a decent thrill ride. The old rumored Monsters Inc Door ride or whatever would be fine. Hell just a clone of the Incredicoaster would be good.

I feel like they are waiting/trying to make a deal with Universal to get the rights to make an Avengers Campus and put it in that area. I’m not getting my hopes up, but that would be best case for everyone probably.

That won’t happen. Hilarious that a bunch of shitty cardboard cut outs and one dark ride prevents them from using some of their highest grossing characters. I mean they literally have characters drive around on ATVs with stickers on them. I feel like it is almost intentional how little they’ve done with the property at IOA at this point.

They will slowly clone something because that’s what they do.

Im more excited to see if anything changes in Toon Lagoon. That’s one area that really missed the mark in Universal. Still a better rapids ride than AK though.

It’s my understanding that Marvel/Disney have to approve any changes or additions to the land, which is why it’s so stuck in the past. It would definitely have to be a mutual deal for a new ride, Universal keeps Simpson’s, and lots of money to get it done.

The rumor for awhile is they were going to just clone the Tangled musical they do on Disney Cruises for that location.

As far as the MK stuff goes. Brayden from Mickey Views ( who is has a good record for accuracy) has said what he has heard from his Imagineering sources is the plan is doing away with Frontierland and splitting it into 2 new lands, and then a 3rd new land once those are completed.

    • New Orleans - would be essentially a version of New Orleans Square in MK and would be overall Princess and the Frog themed, and it would encompass Splash Mountain and the street where Country Bear and the current restaurants are. The plan is Country Bears won't go away, but will be completely redone with new animatronics. Pecos Bill will be rethemed to Tiana's restaurant with Creole food.
    • Desert/tropical - would be Latin American themed and include Big Thunder and Coco/Encanto mini lands. They would expand northward for the Coco and Encanto areas. Tom Sawyer's island will stay, but will be rethemed to something less problematic.
    • Villains - would be Disney villain themed and would be an expanse into the area north of Tom Sawyer's island. Brayden implies this one wouldn't happen until the "beyond Thunder Mountain" project is complete, as Disney's plan is to have connector area between that land and Haunted Mansion. This one is the most far off and most likely to not see the light of day.
