Was surprised them and Copeland doing BTMT weren't on there. My early 2000s "don't call us a christian band" heart is breaking.

 

This is also Reading, calling it a C market is a stretch. Only diehards are leaving Philly to go to Reading. And even then, why would I go to Reading on a Wednesday when I can go to Baltimore or NYC on a Friday/Saturday

 

I really thought they would be at RF this year

 

Lana Del Rey is playing 4 stadium shows in Mexico.

I have seen her in an auditorium a few years ago, but Im not sure how her live show will translate to big venues

 

I’ll tell you who’s music translates to stadiums and that’s turnstile. Them opening for blink was wild to see. They CRUSHED

 

Lana has already played arenas before

 

They did so well here but literally maybe 20 people were standing and knew their stuff. People around me were complaining which was baffling to me.

 

I know she has played to big crowd at festivals too, but going from an arena to a playing 2 nights at a 70k cap stadium its crazy for me.

 

I have seen some videos and most of the crowd are not into them, which is a bummer. But them as a band definetly have the potential to play arenas

 

They are the band that got me into rock (and from there metal, punk, emo etc) and I haven't lived in the US up until 2015 so yeah, I'm pretty excited for that.

 

yeah I felt so awkward sitting down watching them but literally no one else in my section was standing lol

Speaking of that Ghost Inside/Underoath tour, I honestly had no idea it was even coming to my city. But looks like it'll be here next Friday at the Coney Island Ampitheater. And it's selling very poorly.

Yes technically in NYC, but its ALLLLLLLL the way at the bottom of Brooklyn. Anyone coming from Queens or Manhattan that's like a 90 minute subway commute.
I think if this tour hit another 6k venue in the city, like Central Park or Hulu Theater, it would've sold well. But no one outside of South Brooklyn wants to travel to Coney Island on a weeknight, especially during a heatwave.

 

I live in the borough of Brooklyn and it took me well over an hour to get to that place when I saw 311 there in 2016.

 

I went to the Underoath Detroit show they did last week… the setlist is so freaking good. Felt weird no encore though

 

Isn’t it pretty standard that there’s usually no encore if it’s a co-headliner?
