Prince's is one of my all-time favorite spots. I was in Nashville a bunch for work a couple of years back and it was a nonnegotiable stop for me. Prince's >>>>>> Hattie B's and every other hot chicken spot on earth.

 

Been two and a half months since we were told "a new song will come out each month" until the album is released

 

I know how quick they rushed that one, and judging by how blown out the audio in the music video was, I hope this one isn't as rushed

Eh being on tour and getting ready for said tour and still working on the album during that time too, I doubt they have another music video tucked away. As much as Tom is back into blink, there's no way they've gotten that far ahead with things

And not like I'm gonna complain if someone has to quote me "see you were wrong" not like I don't want blink to be churning out stuff. Would love to be wrong

 

Great show last night in Nashville! It was my 4th time seeing them (once w/Skiba). Last night may have been favorite though!

A few highlights:

• Loved the youthful fun energy from Tom. I didn't see that when I saw them in 2009 and 2011
• I enjoyed the shout out to Skiba after Cynical. They even talked about Atom Willard joining Akaline Trio and thanked the crowd for supporting the dysfunctional Blink family.
• Edging goes over so well live. The crowd was loving it.
• Mark got very emotional while discussing his cancer before Adam's song. I think he may have even broke down again during the song itself as he missed singing part of a verse. I can tell that song means so much to Mark.
• Travis killed it as always.
• I think the length of the set ended up being about 1 hour 40 minutes. It felt like a nice length. Obviously, I would have been fine if they kept going for another hour, but that's the longest I've seen them ever play.

Overall an awesome night!!! Now i'm ready for some new music!

 

I am optimistic that something will drop in the next 4 weeks. Unless they are still writing and recording it probably didn't make sense to put out new music with a tour halfway (or more) complete. Also, it was probably a scheduling issue to do a video on the second leg of the tour. Please God do not let the first extensive interview be on KROQ. lol always a puff piece.

 

What a time to be a fan of this band! My hype is through the roof again, can't wait to watch the full Nashville set when it hits youtube. My buddy was PIT like 4 rows back from Tom and is sending me clips and I'm so jealous hahaha.

 

What kind of hard hitting interview with blink are you looking for lol

 

Considering Mark survived cancer and Tom was not in the band for the last 9 years, and they just made a new record together - it's not unreasonable to except an in-depth interview about how all of the reunion stuff and new album came together...

 

I just wanna know if Tom has listened to Nine

 

Tom went wild on his last Lifeforms press tour and Mark and Travis have both had significant life-changing events happen over the last few years. Thoughtful interviews vs. the very lame and surface-level kevin and bean interviews would be cool. Just want to get some good details about the whole process of coming back together and writing this album.

 

I don't think it matters if the first one is KROQ, I'm sure they're gonna do plenty of interviews

 

Love the possibility of interviews just to hear Tom say good things about blink & hearing them all together again feeds my fan brain like nothing else, but what we just got over the last few months in tour videos/clips was better than anything I’d ever hope for.

 

I'm going to guess we get the single on August 4th along with album pre-orders. For the album date, my prediction is October 27th.

 

As long as the album doesn't become Blink-182's Graveyard of the Atlantic and be in perpetual "almost done" status for the next 10+ years, it'll be just fine.

Delighted go say finally that the next show the band play is the one I will be at. Never thought I’d see the three of them together again and I’m already beyond buzzing.

 

Well, vinyl pre-orders technically have been. Seems like they did that as early as possible to get the jump on numbers for production.

 

Kourtney said on the latest episode of the Kardashians that Travis had to have the masters in by December. Assuming that never happened given the studio reports after in 2023?

 

I mean the last date we knew of was when Aaron said it had to be turned in by end of January and that clearly didn't happen
