I'm getting very excited for my day. I made a playlist with the setlists for this and the Yellowcard tour which are 5 days apart for me and it's got me pretty hyped for both.

Just letting you know that at my 2 dates Kennedy didn't come out for the pre-show hangs

Went in Clearwater and had a good time! Definitely low attendance. Was bizarre because our pit was “sold out” and there were only about 100 people in it and it was incredibly empty. A bunch of the lower section of seats were empty and the higher levels (that had $25 ticket deals etc) were full, but the venue staff were incredibly meticulous about ticket checking. I’m hoping they learn from this - a show that could’ve been great in a GA venue just ended up being kind of awkward and uncomfortable for both bands and fans.

Stand Atlantic had sound issues and cut quite a few songs, was disappointed because they were my 2nd most anticipated act of the day. LS Dunes were fun - sound was not the best but the venue was only like 1/3 full so it’s kind of what I expected.

PVRIS sounded the best they have since I started seeing them in 2014. Lynn seems more into it, her vocals sound great, but kind of apparent that they don’t enjoy playing anything pre-Use Me. I had fun during their set but a PVRIS set without St. Patrick just feels blasphemous to me lol.

The Maine were great - blame sounded much better live than I anticipated, band sounded really good, and seemed to be enjoying themselves even with the small crowd and lack of any real audience reaction. They also pulled me up on stage to do Black Butterflies with them which was the highlight of the day for me!

Watched a few TBS songs before heading out and wow…they just…have changed so much in the last few years. Was ok missing the rest of their set.

I liked the new Clearwater venue a lot, but it is really only suited for literally any other genre of music lol. I had fun and enjoyed myself, but damn, the vibes were just…so off. It’s so weird looking back and seeing just empty rows all around you.

here’s the attendance for anyone curious

Begging and pleading next year they step up their game with a lineup that justifies amphitheaters or they go back to GA parking lots, if it continues at all.

Not a shock that Philly tomorrow is in low ticket warning territory as a GA venue. I can't imagine being seated for a show like this, just doesn't fit the vibe at all

Yes it is. I actually liked it honestly. But like I also said in my review, they definitely need to work on figuring out how many people can fit in the pit.

Yesss I saw you get pulled on stage, that was so awesome!! Your review was pretty similar to mine though, so I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt the same about the pit and stuff.
It was also a little crazy to me that people from the lawn were coming down to the 100 level barricade and were standing in front of the people that had the front row seats. Like I found that a bit rude unless they were given permission from the people sitting there. I know the venue made an announcement and told them to leave and go back to the lawn, but yeah.
That pit would’ve been so insane if they actually filled it.

I’m here today. Head Automatica played from 5:50-6:30, after Hot Mulligan/before PVRIS

Definitely lots of empty seats today. The lawn does not look too crowded either. Still some time for it to fill in before the Maine and TBS, but yeah, having this at an amphitheater with no pit probably wasn’t the best move. A couple of the bands seemed to kinda indirectly acknowledge this is weird choice of venue to have this fest lol.

It’s what used to be Coachman Park. It’s called the Sound this really should of been at Vinoy Park

Going to Boston Sunday at the Pavilion, doesn't look like there's a GA section on Live Nation, so curious how this will play out

Philly is pretty full at a 5k cap, not sold out but very full.

Adam has now developed the thing where he talks some words, skips other lines completely and holds the mic out. He just sounds cooked, and I mean I have a lot of leniency. My wife was even like he sounds awful, before I said anything.

Honestly, I thought taking back Sunday sounded pretty good last night. The first few songs were a bit rough but honestly it seemed like he needed to warm up a bit and ended up sounding okay. Obviously not like he used to, can’t hit all the notes anymore for sure, but far from awful. I had a really fun time with their set
