yeah i mean, i will not try to claim they've always sounded incredible live - there certainly have been bad and downright awful performances, but not on the scale you'd imagine reading posts here lol

perfectly fine and enjoyable to see live

Weirdest thing about those live videos is the stage set up with Adam up on that raised platform and Mark drumming off to the side. I think they sound pretty good tbh.

I don’t mind mark being to the side but Adam behind everyone is weird

Clearly John, Shaun and Nathan have turned their back on Adam and they are breaking up again.

    this is all there is

I don't know when Adam's stage voice became some kind of southern baptist preacher, but it is goofy my man.

Damn, that setlist is pretty great. It's a good mix of all the eras.

Do people here think having John sing and play the New Again tunes would be an improvement to Matt? That could definitely be cool to witness, but wouldn't get better for me, Matt was really doing it right in my opinion. Also, I didn't listen to NA in quite a long time, I might need to revisit with that thought behind it.

I don't think it'd be an improvement, but as someone who likes New Again and also likes John Nolan, I think a few of those songs popping into setlists here & there with John would be cool.

oh I get it! ;D I had thought it was more of a voice of people here that normally wouldn't like NA and maybe would see a switch in the perception with the current line-up

I'm pretty sure most of the loudest New Again haters would be happiest to just see those songs thrown away, lol, unless there's a song or two that they already like ("Everything Must Go" seems to be a common exception).

Thanks for posting! Everything Must Go is a big standout track from that era for me, and Adam didn't do a terrible job there. Really think that song should've been in their sets more.

    Can someone post a picture?

Seeing Nunley's name dropped out of context made me do an almost cartoon double take.

Hot take: I used to put John on a pedestal vocally, but looking back at it, Fred was by far my favorite cuz he had more personality. John sounds fantastic in Straylight Run and Tell All Your Friends, but John has faded into the back since his return and may have an important in the songwriting, but every time he sings in the newer tracks like The One, he's just...there. Am I the only one?

  25. Drewski

    Maybe so, maybe not.

That Nunley's merch is so sick.

I have a tattoo of two photos from my childhood on the back of my arm from the Nunley's photobooth.

EDIT: For context, Nunley's was a beloved carnival in Baldwin, NY that is a formative piece of basically any Long Islander's childhood of a certain age.
