Maverick starring Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster? Don't think I've ever seen it, but it doesn’t look like that big a deal to me?

    wasn't implying that

I outlined my speculation for why the movie didn't take hold of me personally. but I couldn't tell you why I lost interest with 100% certainty. who cares? I'm not disparaging anyone who liked it. obviously the vast majority did

3 is the worst, the way jj abrams films movies should be illegal, i’m absolutely right and you’ll all agree with me eventually bc the arc of history bends toward me being right

3 has its flaws but it weirdly holds up for me considering that there's four successors that handily leave it in the dust

3 is miles above 2 and your opinion on it will always be weird.

3 is great because PSH is a fantastic villain in a franchise of mostly forgettable villains and it’s like the one time we see Ethan be just a regular dude.

There was a chance that I wouldn’t be able to see this for a while, but the great reviews forced me to snag tickets to an early screening tomorrow.

Rewatched 2 a few nights ago and 3 last night and 3 is so much better it’s laughable. Some of the best parts of the series are in 3 and it set it on the track it’s on now.

3 is very good and enjoyable. The movies just kept getting better from there.

  19. This was absolutely fantastic. Not sure if it's as good as fallout. Seeing again next Sunday.

  20. Do not read this spoiler unless you've seen it

bummed about Ilsa. Rebecca Ferguson is so good in these movies and I feel like she was given nothing at all to do in this one except to die. Guess there isn't enough room for her and Haley atwell who was fantastic

  21. 3 was my first MI film, I remember Phillip Seymor Hoffman killing it and Tom Cruise in the scene he cries which I felt was convincing acting so I remember mostly good things

Me and the wife just rewatched Fallout. Ready for a date night either this week or maybe when we get back from vacation.

The only screenings in my city tomorrow are 4DX which sounds like a nightmare or our super outdated “imax” theater which is ultra cramped seating that doesn’t recline and isn’t even a real imax screen (not big enough) so I gotta wait

By some force of the universe, I made it to 2023 without having seen any of these movies. Going through 1-5 with my wife this past week has been a lot of fun. These movies fucking rule. Excited for Fallout this week and the new one this weekend
