Having fun playing super Mario party with my son but I feel like the mini games in the original N64 games were so much better.

 

Gotta get Mario Party Superstars. It is vastly superior to Super Mario Party and has mini games and boards from older games like the N64 ones

 

Yeah, Super Mario Party unfortunately is not the good one.

the fact that despite being stupendously more powerful, no other console was able to produce a game nearly as complex as TOTK is proof we don't need a switch 2.

 

I hope we’re still a ways out, I want to upgrade to an OLED Switch and still have it be relevant for a while

 

They should just keep making switches and making new consoles

Do we know if any DLC is coming for this? I love it, but we've definitely overplayed the maps at this point. Was hoping they'd add some more

I'm pretty sure we aren't, but then again Nintendo did DLC/new courses for Mario Kart 8 a full 8 years after the initial release so who the hell knows

 

My kids are weird with Mario Party. I own both Switch games, but whenever they want to play they hook up the Wii U and play Mario Party 10. I don’t get it.

Gamestop has some Switch games on sale for $39.99. There's Skyward Sword HD, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and I think I saw Metroid Dread. Dunno what else.

I picked up Skyward Sword HD. Digital, of course.
