Grew up going to Christcore shows. First *secular* show was Fall Out Boy on the Save Rock & Roll club tour

The only thing I remember about the Jesus Lizard was the singer acting like he was gonna whip HIS lizard out during the show. My dad did not appreciate that.

Looking through my concert archives and found the best stretch of concerts…

3/12/05 - Taste of Chaos (the used, my chemical romance, senses fail, underoath, bleed the dream, kill switch engage, saosin, a static lullaby)

3/18/05 - Epitaph Records Tour (matchbook romance, from first to last, motion city soundtrack, the matches)

4/7/05 - Fueled By Ramen and Friends Tour (fall out boy, the academy is, midtown, gym class heroes)

    All in 4 weeks, damn

Never got to see From A Second Story Window and that show is about 3 and a half hour drive for me. Super tempting

My first show was Sum 41, Unwritten Law, and Hawthorne Heights in 2005 I think. Right after Chuck came out

This is the earliest concert stuff I can find. There were a ton of country artists I saw when I was younger that I don’t remember.

Tlc never did this. It was Monica one year and the other was blaque! I was at that same show and went to multiple shows both years they had it. Would have been sick if they did it

Think my first show was K Rock Dysfunctional Family Picnic 4.0 - Sevendust, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, STP, Ozzy, and Creed

Supposedly Limp Bizkit was upset they were billed so low and were causing a scene so someone pulled the plug on them during their set.

First show I remember going to without a parent was Korn/Mindless Self Indulgence/Staind. This was actually a few months before DFP.

if I’m correct it went Limp, Creed, Ozzy. They thought (Fred) that they should have been billed over Creed, and to add to that Scott Stapp had said some not wonderful things about Fred. But yea Limp just went on super late anyway.

I actually saw them twice! They opened for Fuel but I haven’t tracked down when that show took place. They were nice dudes.

First time I’ve seen Dynamic pricing go down day of show to try and move tickets, and it worked. Beyoncé dropped 100 level Toronto prices for tonight to around $290 USD from close to $375 yesterday. Looks like a lot of them sold.

I saw that tour. I think HH was honestly bigger than both Sum 41 and UL at the time but they signed on before they blew up.

I was at that. I think Creed closed the show oddly enough (typically the biggest band at the DFP didn't always close). I still think the best lineups they had were the 2001 and 2002 shows at Jones Beach.

our radio fest did something similar, where the biggest band might actually play third is last or second to last, just to space the crowd out.

min 02 they had Incubus play right before System of a Down, and that was when Morning View made them the biggest rock band on the planet.

In 03 it went Beck then Audioslave, and then The Used

In 04 they had Beastie Boys then The Darkness and then The Strokes closed out. This way it wasn’t 18k people all leaving at once.

Yeah ALTer Ego did that this year. RHCP was the true headliner and then every band was mixed. Fall Out Boy opened the show. Muse was somewhere in the middle and Jack White was the last to place before RHCP
