I just can’t listen to Thug because of his violence against women. I’d normally love their work, but I can’t separate artist from art in a lot of situations. Same for Uzi.

I totally get and respect that and have stopped listening to lots of other artists. I haven't quiet drawn that line with Thug yet for whatever reason, maybe it's just because I enjoy his music too much if I'm being honest.

I really only fully got into To See A Sunset so far this year, other stuff hasn’t really grabbed me, but I also haven’t heard every relevant release. Earlier this year I listened to the last Stormzy album a lot still.

  7. I gotta go back to Indiana Jones. That soundtracked many days at the start of the year but I probably haven’t gone back to it since March

  8. Oof yeah this still hits. Gotta be my favorite Boldy joint

Jay Electonica might be the single biggest "missed opportunity" or "untapped talent" or basically most promise that missed the most, for me personally

I think about this category of rappers a lot, haha. I haven’t really thought of him as one of those because the output he did have was always pretty good, but I guess there was so little of it that he does qualify, haha.

just so much promise, and especially because he has shown how great he COULD be a few times, but all the delays and weird releases and such, just never lived up to it
