$13-20 in 1985 is about $36-56 today which kinda makes sense for "modern" acts of the time.

I saw the 311 and Third Eye Blind tours that summer. Had to miss RHCP due to various HS reasons (fun fact:, Foo Fighters opened the other leg of that tour AND there were some select dates in B markets that had Foo Fighters and an upcoming band called Muse opening).

Yep, that was my very first concert. RHCP, FF, and Muse. 4/3/00 in Albany, NY.

I went to some church youth group concerts as a young teen (Stellar Kart, Kutless, Superchick, a few others) but first real *show* was We Came As Romans, Upon A Burning Body, In Fear and Faith, Abandon All Ships and Confide at The Marquee (now called The Vanguard, I think) in Tulsa. Mostly went for Confide and WCAR

god damn, your first show ever is way better than my first show ever: Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock and Staind (pre-outside) - 7/23/99, lowell, MA. also fun fact it was the last show of the tour before LB and KR played woodstock 99.

Hah! I remember hearing about that show and assuming it was something WAAF was putting on because of the "outdoor" Staind part. I didn't know it was a tour.

And according to Concert Archives it was called the "Limptropolis Tour." :crylaugh:

Ha the All That Music and More fest was my first concert in 1999. My date had a better lineup though, 98 Degrees, Monica, and Aaron Carter (before he blew up)

First “real” concert for a band from the scene was TBS with AVA as direct support and Head Automatica opening at Six Flags lol. @michael_gatto can’t remember if you were there or not

I think I was I vaguely remember AVA being booed when they came on?

Side bar my first real show was the Hawthorne Heights headliner with Bayside, Silverstein and Aiden and Bayside played acoustic because it was after Beatz passed.
